Student Travel Awards
Make time for your future. Make time for the nation’s future.
You’re busy studying, researching, and teaching in addition to trying to determine how your hard work will payoff. What will you do after you graduate? How will you do it? Can you make a difference in your future and our nation’s future?
These important, life-changing questions can be answered at the 2017 CBD S&T Conference—and we want to help you get there.
Present your work at the 2017 CBD S&T Conference!
The conference will provide 20 travel awards for students to attend and present their research. This travel award program is a great opportunity for students to participate in the conference and learn about current research in the chemical and biological defense program. Consider making a difference in the chem/bio defense community and submit your abstract to the conference’s Call for Papers.
To be considered for one of the 20 travel awards, students must:
- Be currently enrolled at time of abstract submission, as well as date of conference, in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, doctoral or postdoctoral program
- Submit an abstract to the conference’s ‘Call for Papers’ no later than June 9, 2017
- Undergo thorough abstract review by subject matter experts
- Be selected to present their work in one of the conference sessions
Student travel awards will be based on review and selection of eligible abstracts and awards will cover the cost of registration, transportation, lodging, and meals (per diem) for the conference.
Additional details will be provided directly to the student travel award recipients.
